Hot Springs was made the first Federal Reservation by President Andrew Jackson in 1832. making Hot Springs America's first national park.
It is America's favorite spa, a world-famous resort built around the thermal waters. Situated in the beautifully restored National Park area, you can experience the architectural treasures of the downtown area with it's bathhouses, Victorian buildings, art and sculpture galleries, or find some of the finest and most scenic beauty for camping, fishing, boating, and horseback riding.

It is known around the world for it's thermal waters and the magical healing powers they are said to contain. Called valley of the vapors by the Indians it is situated in the beautiful Ouachita mountains.
Surrounding Hot Spings are five sparkling lakes thus the Diamond Lakes designation.
